This new spot is pretty much exactly what we expected: cool crowd, lively atmosphere, and of course, food served on cardboard.

Eyal Shani has now racked up quite a collection, between the gourmet Abraxas North and HaSalon, to the trendy Port Said and uber successful Miznon, and now he has birthed this gem. Romano is most similar in style to Port Said in that it has a bar feel to it.

If you’ve been to one of Shani’s restaurants before you’re probably used to ordering the usuals, but don’t expect to see them here. The menu changes daily and it’s always good.

They tempt you to stay at your table all night by promising a selection of daily special desserts that are available only after midnight. Lucky the ‘knafeh’ is always on the menu, it was so special and delicious- a must try!
